What we collect
• Parent/guardian: name, email address, phone number (optional), profile photo (optional)
• Teacher/admin: name, email, school name, role
• Student: first name (or nickname), class/year group, behavior points, assignments received/completed
• Device info: device type, OS version, IP address (for security & notifications)
• Push notification tokens (so you receive alerts)
What we NEVER collect
✘ Full legal names of children (only first name or nickname shown)
✘ Home addresses, ID numbers, or payment details from parents
✘ Any data from children under 13 without verifiable parental/guardian consent (COPPA compliant)
How we use the information
• To let teachers and parents communicate safely
• To show real-time behavior points and homework
• To send school news, events, weather alerts, and polls
• To run anonymous surveys and school fundraising campaigns
• To improve the app and fix bugs
Who sees the data
• Only verified teachers and parents from the same school
• Students only see their own points and assignments
• School administrators can see class-level data (never individual home details)
• No data is sold or shared with third parties for advertising – ever.
Data storage & security
• All data is encrypted in transit and at rest
• Hosted on secure servers in the European Union
• We delete a child’s data automatically when they leave the school (or on parent request)
Your rights
You can at any time:
• View all data we hold about you or your child
• Correct or delete it
• Export it
• Withdraw consent and delete your account
